Ashes 2025-26 Tournament Details
The Ashes is one of cricket’s oldest rivalries, contested between England and Australia in Test matches since 1882. Both teams have solid records in the Ashes history, but Australia has the slightest edge. That shows how competitive the Asheareis are.
The 2025-26 Ashes series marks England’s first full tour of Australia under the aggressive “Bazball” era led by captain Ben Stokes and coach Brendon McCullum. The English team will aim to reclaim the Urn, lost in 2019 and 2023.
Australia currently holds the Urn, and on their home soil, they are deadly. On the other hand, with the new approach of the Bazeball Era, England will be looking forward to attacking the Australian bowlers straight away.
